More so than ever before, people are living their lives through photos and videos and one of the easiest ways to do that is through an app called Instagram. Used by more than 700 million people every month, Instagram makes sharing videos and photos dead simple, not just with our families and friends, but with anyone else that we want. Instagram is an incredibly useful app, packed with features but there are some very basic ones that seem to have been missed out.

Instagram++ fills the gap, providing us with, not just all the stock features, but plenty of extras that add to our user experience and make using Instagram all the more enjoyable. Before we go into details on how to download Instagram++, look at what some of the extra features are:

Instagram++ Features :

  • Feed type can be shown in full feed or thumbnail
  • Show custom date/time stamps on images 
  • Hide your Bio from your profile
  • Stop comments showing up in Full feed
  • In Zoom mode, show image captions
  • Long-hold an image to zoom in

  • Use the built-in iOS share sheet for sharing media

How to Download Instagram++ :

Instagram++ is a tweaked app so you won’t be able to download it from the iOS app store. Usually, you would have to Download Cydia [ext link] to get it but, with the lack of jailbreaks, the developers have made it available through another app called HipStore. Here’s how to download it:
  1. Download HipStore on your iPhone or iPad 
  2. Launch HipStore and run a search for Instagram++ 
  3. Wait for the search results to be populated and then choose the one that goes with the device and iOS version you are currently running
  4. Follow the instructions in HipStore to download Instagram++ to your device, tapping on Install to confirm your actions
  5. Leave your device until the installation has completed and then you can take advantage of the new feature.
For anyone who loves to use Instagram, it is well worth trying Instagram++, just to try out the new features and see if they suit you. And, because there is no need to jailbreak, so many more people can use it. If you are concerned about Apple revoking the app certificate
